Stop the VAT increase

The economic situation means that, all over the world, governments are having to make difficult decisions. But the Conservative / Lib Dem coalitions that run both Britain’s Government and Birmingham’s own Council are making the wrong decisions at the wrong time.

The coalition government is increasing VAT to 20%. This will hit pensioners and people of low and modest incomes the hardest. We think this is wrong.
